Copper sulfate could be used as animal Cu supplement, antimicrobial agent and element for boosting the blood circulation. It is widely used in the probiotics, to prevent the anemia, lameness, osteogenesis imperfect (OI), swelling joint, osteoporosis, growth retardation, heart failure, gastrointestinal disorders.

Copper sulfate is an element for Bordeaux mixture as a fungicide for plants. It could also be an aquarium water treatment for sterilization and pest control.

Copper sulfate can be used for the production for mask. It is also a common chemical reagent in lab for recrystallization test and e-plating test.

Copper sulfate is an activator in the flotation in mining industry.

In textile manufacturing, copper sulfate is mordant, oxidant or a coating material for the textile.
